Surgery Nurse

Puppy at the Vet

I guess you could say Veterinary Nursing has always been my calling. I started working at a vet clinic part time in christchurch when I was just 14, and so it seemed a natural progression to study Veterinary Nursing when I finished school. After graduating top of my class at Polytech I worked for a specialist Veterinary Hospital in Christchurch, before deciding to move to Marlborough. I was instrumental in the development of a full time Vet Clinic in Picton, where I went on to win the inaugural vet nurse of New Zealand title.

Life outside the clinic is very busy. My husband and I are dairy farmers at Koromiko and along with our three children, enjoy spending time in the Sounds or on the farm.
