Dr Kelly Trathen

I was born in Blenheim, but grew up in Nelson where I met my husband. We’re both happy to be back in the South Island after finishing my study at Massey University in 2022. I’ve always wanted to be a veterinarian, and am excited to start my career working alongside such an experienced and friendly team. My souvenirs from vet school include four pets; Billy the Bearded Collie, a crossbreed named Bobby, and our two cats Mila and Pudge. In my down time, I enjoy crocheting and reading, and am looking forward to exploring the dog-friendly walks in Marlborough.
