I have been a companion animal vet all my working life, having started out in the UK where I qualified from Edinburgh University. In 2005 I moved to NZ with my wife, 2 children and our family dog, ready for an adventure! We have remained here ever since and are now NZ citizens. We now live in Blenheim (having started out in Havelock) wiIth 2 dachshunds and a cat. I have a special interest in skin diseases.

When not treating animals you will find me constituting one quarter of the Marlborough Jazz Quartet on tenor saxophone.
